I don't care, still better than the bus. For fun, I also took the quiz as if the bus was my car, and a van with a rear mounted V8 turbodiesel gets the same result! How would a car like that not be Jalop as fuck?

Is your car more or less Jalop than a '96 Cutlass Ciera? That seems to be the reference car for that score.
Actually Ciera would be pretty cool in local super boring parking lots.

My brother and I were experimenting with the test last night. We did find some cars that scored well. Among them the Ford Supervan Mk 1, the Ferrari 288 GTO and the MkIII GT40. Many many others did not fare so well.
(though to be fair, all of the above got 71-80%. So it's not like these were the ultimate jalopmobiles. Of course, my 2000 New Beetle was 6-10%... and so was my FIL's Hot Wheels Edition Camaro SS-II with a 6MT.)

...so what you're saying is I need to get A Father in Law who is a Jalop and has more resources than I do, so I can test drive awesome manual sports cars without having to buy and take care of them?

It's worked out for me G37 was traded in for the SS, so... yes. I advise it. But don't listen to the Jalop meter... because if a HW edition 420 HP Camaro with a 6MT is only 10% at best, then, well, there are issues.

My 2008 Hybrid Camry got 6%-10%.
It should be negative 6% to negative 10%
